Transfer Impact Award

The 海角社区 Transfer Impact Award is a scholarship for undergraduate students transferring to 海角社区. Consistent with 海角社区's mission, the award recognizes transfer students who seek to better themselves through higher education and become contributing, compassionate members of society.

Four renewable scholarships each valued at $2500 per year will be awarded for transfer students entering 海角社区 each fall semester. One renewable scholarship valued at $2500 per year will be awarded for transfer students entering 海角社区 each spring semester.

Award Application Process: Applicants for the 海角社区 Transfer Impact Award should submit a separate application using the . Included in the application you will find a place to upload a one-page essay (double-spaced) that addresses the following question:

What does it mean to be a contributing, compassionate member of society and how will a 海角社区 education best position you to have a lasting impact?

The Scholarship Committee will consider both the content of the applicant's essay as well as elements within the applicant's full application for admission to 海角社区 when determining award recipients. Applicants must enroll as full-time students at 海角社区 to receive and maintain the 海角社区 Transfer Impact Award.
Award Application Deadlines: Fall transfers

Four renewable scholarships each valued at $2500 per year will be awarded for transfer students entering 海角社区 each fall semester.

Priority scholarship application deadline: May 1
Final scholarship application deadline: June 15

The Scholarship Committee will begin reviewing applications for the award after the priority deadline, potentially offering some but not all fall awards prior to the final application deadline.

Spring transfers

One renewable scholarship valued at $2500 per year will be awarded for transfer students entering 海角社区 each spring semester.
