1. Go to and select "you can also sign in using your email address."
2. Enter your 海角社区 email address then select next. Tip: If you no longer have access to your 海角社区 email address, see below.*
3. Select "or log in using your Handshake credentials." This will prompt you to set up a password for your account.
4. Select the "get started" button to prompt a password creation email to the email address you input.
5. Using the email you received, create your password.
6. Now, when you log in to the account, be sure to select "you can also sign in using your email address," then "log in using your Handshake credentials" to log in.

*If you do not have access to your 海角社区 email address, contact the Career Center at career@bw.edu and include the following information:

• The email address you would like to be used for Handshake.
• The year you graduated from 海角社区.
• If applicable, your last name when you graduated from 海角社区.

A member of the Career Center team will then update your account and reach out with your next steps.

2. Click "No account? Sign up here" on the top right of the page.
3. Enter your email address. Tip: Use your bw.edu email address if you have access to the account. You may already have a Handshake account and can log in with your 海角社区 credentials. If you do not have access to your 海角社区 email account, use your personal email address.
4. Create a password and read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Then, check the box to agree to the terms of service before you click submit.
5. Fill in your information and click next.
6. A screen asking you to confirm your registration will appear.

• To confirm your registration, click on the link that you received in your email.
  
  • Tip: If you do not find your confirmation email, please check your spam folder.
  • If you still have difficulty, please contact Handshake at support@joinhandshake.com.

Once you have confirmed your email address, you are registered as an alumnus and may log in at with your email address and password to complete your Handshake profile!

1. From the , click "Career Center" in the upper right of the screen.
2. Select "appointments" from the list of options.
3. Select "schedule a new appointment."
4. Select "alumni appointment."
5. Choose the most appropriate appointment type.
6. Select an appointment time that works for you - use the arrows at the top to go week to week. Each date will tell you if there are appointments available.
