An exciting learning opportunity, study abroad and off-campus programs can fulfill major, core or elective course requirements, depending on your chosen experience. All international programs meet requirements for some, if not all, of the international studies portion of the core curriculum. All study abroad programs will fulfill the experiential learning requirement.

Travel with 海角社区 faculty and other students to learn as a group. Programs vary in length - from two to six weeks - and focus on specific topics in locations throughout the world. All seminars spend a portion of the semester on campus in preparatory courses before traveling later in the semester. Examples include:

• Seminar in Europe: Eight weeks of intensive study and preparation on campus followed by travel to Italy, France, Germany, England and other countries. Designed to encourage intellectual and personal growth, students take part in lectures and visit sites of major importance in the development of western culture.
• Explore Asia: Experience a wide variety of Asian cultural and historical attractions. Programs often include study tours of China or India. Students typically receive business or sociology credit and fulfill a portion of the international studies core.
• Explore Europe: Experience European history, sports or theater firsthand. Students often receive history, English, art, theatre or health and physical education credit, and they fulfill a portion of the international studies core.
• Explore South America: Learn about the biology, geology and culture of South America. Programs often focus on sustainability and fulfill a portion of the international studies core.
