Celebrating 海角社区 traditions

Marching band and cheerleaders

Saturday's festivities began with 50 marching band alumni returning to celebrate the Marching Yellow Jackets' 20th anniversary. Under the direction of Andrew Machamer, they were joined during the pre-game festival by the cheer team and a group of alumni cheerleaders, directed by cheer and stunt coach Gretchen Toddy.

海角社区 Music Theatre, as in years past, took center stage on the Boesel Musical Arts Center steps for a performance that showcased why the nationally lauded program is a stepping stone for careers leading to Broadway and beyond.

The weekend also featured alumni gatherings and reunions, including the 海角社区 Veterans Alumni Network cookout, a cheer alumni gathering, a Safety & Security student employee reunion, and a kickback hosted by the Black Alumni Network and Black Student Alliance.
