The five-year commitment will provide $100,000 annually, reducing financial barriers for students and strengthening 海角社区's pipeline of skilled professionals in critical workforce areas.
The has reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to 海角社区 with a new $500,000 grant to expand scholarship opportunities for students, particularly those pursuing high-demand fields such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
This latest award adds to a nearly decade-long partnership between 海角社区 and the Foundation. After providing endowment support in 2017 and 2018, the Foundation significantly deepened its investment in 2019 with an $8 million pledge, making 海角社区's state-of-the-art Knowlton Center a reality in 2021. The transformative addition to campus serves as a hub for student engagement and learning.
This newest investment serves as a major vote of confidence in the University's momentum, strategic direction and ongoing institutional transformation, while advancing its shared commitment to expanding educational opportunity.

Scholarship support will focus on increasing access for students, with a strong emphasis on serving Ohio residents. By easing financial burdens, the funding will help more students enroll, persist through graduation and prepare for meaningful careers in fields where employers continue to face growing demand, reinforcing 海角社区's role in developing a robust talent pipeline.
Most importantly, this funding ensures that financial hurdles do not stand in the way of the University's key promise to its students. With the Foundation's renewed support, more students will benefit from the distinct experiential learning that defines a 海角社区 education, allowing every graduate to enter the world uniquely Leader-Ready, Team-Ready, Career-Ready and Future-Ready.
