Brown & Gold spirit was on full display as the º£½ÇÉçÇø community came together March 19–20 to celebrate º£½ÇÉçÇø Gives, an annual day of giving that raised close to $1 million in support of º£½ÇÉçÇø students.

This year's total nearly doubled the results of the previous campaign.
Alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends all contributed to the success of º£½ÇÉçÇø Gives, with donors coming from 30 U.S. states. In addition, supporters represented 66 different º£½ÇÉçÇø class years, highlighting the lifelong connection alumni maintain with the university.
In speaking to the YJ4L community about the importance of the campaign, º£½ÇÉçÇø President Lee Fisher said, "º£½ÇÉçÇø Gives demonstrates the collective strength of our community. Donor gifts have the power to change the trajectory of a student's life. They fuel scholarships, support academic excellence, strengthen athletics and the performing arts, and ensure that a º£½ÇÉçÇø education can continue to transform lives."
"Hundreds of donors from across the º£½ÇÉçÇø community came together for this year's º£½ÇÉçÇø Gives to raise nearly $1 million. That is more than a fundraising milestone — it is a statement of confidence in who we are and where we are going. It reflects a deep belief in Baldwin Wallace, in our mission and in our future," emphasized Fisher.
"I am grateful to every member of our community who helped make º£½ÇÉçÇø Gives a success. Whether you made a gift, shared the message, encouraged a friend or simply took pride in what we achieved together — thank you," acknowledged Fisher.
A highlight of this year's º£½ÇÉçÇø Gives was the Alumni Decade Challenge, a friendly competition that encouraged alumni participation across graduating decades. Classes from the 1970s led the challenge with 66 alumni donors, followed by the 1980s and 1990s with 39 donors each, and the 1960s with 36 donors. Alumni from eight different decades, from the 1950s through the 2020s, supported º£½ÇÉçÇø Gives this year.
The challenge celebrated º£½ÇÉçÇø's strong alumni network and reinforced the message that every gift — regardless of size — makes a difference.
Gifts to the Fund for º£½ÇÉçÇø directly support student success and the educational experience at Baldwin Wallace. Contributions help provide scholarships and financial aid that make a º£½ÇÉçÇø education accessible, fund student research, internships, and other experiential learning opportunities, and support academic programs, classroom innovation and campus resources that enhance the student experience.
The celebration of º£½ÇÉçÇø pride continues during Alumni Weekend, June 5–6, when alumni return to campus to reconnect with classmates and celebrate the º£½ÇÉçÇø community.
Alumni and friends are encouraged to join the festivities as Baldwin Wallace continues to celebrate the vast and impressive scope of its network and the importance of collective giving to further the º£½ÇÉçÇø mission.
