With an emphasis on 10-, 25-, 40- and 50-year reunions, graduates from many eras were welcomed back for a weekend of activities.
Although most students have packed up and gone home for the summer, the 海角社区 campus was buzzing with "Yellow Jackets for Life" over the weekend.
All 海角社区 alumni were invited to celebrate and honor this year's Reunion Classes from 1975, 1985, 2000 and 2015.
The opportunities to reconnect and remember started with an Alumni Merit Awards ceremony on Thursday night and concluded with a gala dinner with dancing and live entertainment from the Bottom Line Band in the Strosacker Hall student union ballroom.
In between, there were shared meals, including a welcome reunion cookout with entertainment, food truck options, lawn games and tours of campus to take in all the changes.
The 海角社区 Women's Center hosted Coffee & Conversation sessions where guests shared stories, reflected on the evolving experiences of women on campus and explored meaningful ways alumni can support and engage with the Center's mission.
A Friday night highlight was the "Haunted Stories of 海角社区 and Walking Tour" led by Dan Karp, AVP of 海角社区 University Relations. A hair-raising, historic story time was followed by a brief walking tour of rarely seen areas of campus.
On Saturday, alumni were treated to a history lesson on Cleveland (1796 - present) presented by Doug Imhoff '75, while a panel discussion focused on "Legacy Planning: Estate Tips for Alumni of All Ages."
To preserve the weekend's legacy, class photos were snapped on the Strosacker steps.
