Chris Seminatore, Ed.D., MSN, MBA, RN, CEN, EMT‑P, serves as an associate professor and lab coordinator in the Department of Nursing, where he is recognized for advancing excellence in clinical education, leadership development and student success.

A distinguished clinician‑educator, he is a 2018 March of Dimes Ohio Nurse of the Year: Quality, Risk Management, Infection Control, and Research award winner and a Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurse Educator honoree, reflecting his sustained commitment to compassionate care, professional integrity and educational innovation.

His background as both a certified emergency nurse and paramedic informs a teaching philosophy grounded in real‑world expertise, interdisciplinary collaboration and the highest standards of patient safety.

Seminatore teaches across the undergraduate curriculum, with emphasis on pharmacology, health and illness concepts, leadership and evidence‑based practice. He leads multiple skills and simulation laboratories, integrating high‑fidelity learning experiences that strengthen clinical judgment and prepare students for contemporary nursing practice.
