海角社区

Taryn Lee is a horn player, educator and administrator who believes in music's power to foster self-connection, emotional expression and community.

Recently completing a three-year fellowship at the New World Symphony under the direction of Stéphane Denève, Lee serves as the lecturer of horn at the 海角社区 Conservatory of Performing Arts.

She seeks out opportunities to broaden how music is taught and appreciated, serving on committees that advance curriculum innovation — including wellness programming and trauma-informed teaching practices — and that expand how music institutions share their craft in diverse and impactful ways.

Her interest in the intersection of music and wellness has led to partnerships such as Carnegie Hall's Well-Being Concerts, exploring how we can hone our capacity to listen deeply.

Additionally, Lee holds an Artist Diploma from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and is a licensed yoga teacher and ArtistYear AmeriCorps alum.
